An island job is just a water job
Captiva sits north of Sanibel, across Blind Pass, at the far west edge of the water we cover. There is no shortcut to a shoreline out here. The materials, the pilings, the lift steel and the crew all arrive the same way your boat does.
Dock water on Captiva is the protected side, Pine Island Sound, with Roosevelt Channel running between the island and Buck Key. Protected is not the same as calm. The Sound builds a real chop when the wind sets up, the channel carries traffic past your pilings, and salt air works on everything in between.
We build from the barge on every job anyway, so island access is not a special request. Pilings get driven from the water, material gets staged on the deck, and nothing tracks across your landscaping. Remote is a normal workday for us, not a production.

What island water asks of a dock
Everything arrives by water
There is no lumberyard down the street and no truck route to your shoreline. Decking, pilings, lift steel and tools come across by boat and get staged on the barge. That changes how a build is sequenced, not whether it gets done right.
Sound wind and wake
Pine Island Sound is protected water, not still water. Open fetch builds a real chop when the wind sets up, and Roosevelt Channel keeps boat traffic moving past your pilings. Island docks want honest piling depth and hardware that does not work loose.
Salt on everything
Island air is salt air, and the waterline zone cycles wet, dry, wet all year. Barnacles and borers chew pilings from the outside in, and corrosion finds every cheap fastener and every tired lift cable. Wraps and salt-rated hardware are not extras out here.
