Yes. A free dock inspection is a standing service, not a promotion. The owner walks your dock and lift, checks decking, stringers, pilings, hardware and cables, and gives you a straight report on what is solid, what is wearing, and what actually needs attention. No obligation either way.

Do I need a permit for dock work in Cape Coral?

Most structural dock and lift work in Cape Coral and wider Lee County needs a permit, and unpermitted work can bite you at sale or insurance time. Rules differ by city, canal and scope. During the free inspection we tell you exactly what your project needs and walk you through the permit steps.

Composite or pressure-treated decking?

Accepted Answer

Composite costs more up front and pays it back in zero staining, no splinters and color that survives the Florida sun. Pressure-treated marine pine is the budget workhorse and still right for many docks. We quote both when it is a close call, and the frame matters more than the board either way.

What size boat lift do I need?

Accepted Answer

Size to your boat's wet weight: hull, motors, full fuel, water and gear, then add a safety margin. A lift that is barely big enough works hard and wears fast. Bring your boat model to the inspection and we will size it properly.

How should I prep my dock and lift for hurricane season?

Accepted Answer

Raise the cradle high and strap the boat, or better, haul it out. Clear the deck of anything that can fly, check cables and bolts before the season, not during a warning, and photograph everything for insurance. A pre-season inspection catches the weak points while there is still time to fix them.

How long does a new dock take?

Permitting is usually the long pole, and it varies by city and scope. The build itself moves quickly once pilings are set. We give you an honest schedule for both parts at the inspection, before you commit to anything.

Are piling wraps worth it?

Accepted Answer

If your pilings are sound, yes. The waterline is where borers, barnacles and wet-dry cycling destroy a piling, and a wrap seals exactly that zone. Wrapping good pilings now is far cheaper than pulling and replacing failed ones later.

My deck feels spongy. Repair or replace?

Spongy boards usually mean the decking is done, but the answer depends on the frame and pilings underneath. If the structure is sound, a re-deck saves you real money over a rebuild. That is exactly what the free inspection settles.

Do you work from the water?

Yes. Pilings and heavy work happen from the barge in the canal, not from your backyard. Your lawn, sprinkler lines and landscaping stay the way we found them.

We are based in Cape Coral and work 13 Southwest Florida communities: Cape Coral, Fort Myers, North Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel, Captiva, Englewood, Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, Bokeelia and St. James City. If your canal is not on that list, call anyway. If we can float to it, we can probably build on it.

What are your hours?

7 AM to 7 PM, 7 days a week. Docks do not fail on a banker's schedule, so call or text (239) 834-0095 whenever it suits you and we will pick it up or get right back to you.

Who will I actually be dealing with?

The owner, Alex. He runs his own crew, assesses the work personally, and the person who quotes your dock is the person who measured it. No commissioned estimator, no call center, no games with the number.

How do I get a quote?

Start with the free inspection. The owner looks at your dock and lift, tells you what it actually needs, and puts a number on exactly that. You are never quoting against a guess made from an office chair.

My dock only needs a small repair. Will you still come out?

Accepted Answer

Call us. The free inspection works the same for a soft board as it does for a full build. If it turns out to be a one-afternoon fix, you will know that too, and you will know who to call when something bigger comes up.

Do you install the lift, or just the dock?

Both, together or separately. We build new docks, drive pilings, re-deck existing frames, wrap pilings, and install and service boat lifts. One crew, one owner, the whole waterline.
