New Dock Construction · Cape Coral
Your empty Cape seawall, finally used
A new dock in Cape Coral starts where the concrete stops. The owner reads your seawall and your canal, lays the dock out around the boat and the way you actually use the water, then the pilings go in from the barge.
Two kinds of canal, two different builds
Cape Coral has 400 miles of canals and they are not all the same water. Freshwater systems and saltwater Gulf-access canals run through the same city, sometimes a few streets apart, and Gulf-access boating heads out through the Caloosahatchee River while Matlacha Pass sits off the west side. Which of those is behind your house changes a new dock before anything gets drawn: hardware spec, how hard we lean on protection at the waterline, and how much the layout has to respect a boat that leaves and comes back on salt.
Then there is the concrete. Almost every canal home in the Cape sits behind a seawall, and on a new build that wall decides more than owners expect: where the walkway ties in, how far the platform reaches out, whether the lift well lands where you can actually swing into it. We plan all of that on your seawall with you standing there, not off a satellite photo, and we scope the build around Lee County and City of Cape Coral dock rules and walk you through the permit steps while the layout is still on paper.
Being based here is the quiet advantage. The barge already works these canals, so getting the owner to your seawall for a free look is a short trip, and nobody has to be told what a Cape canal is before the conversation can start.
Every job covers
Layout and design on your seawall
We plan the dock around your boat, your canal and how you will use it, walkway, platform, lift well and all, before anything is ordered.
Pilings driven from the water
The barge sets every piling straight and deep from the canal side. No equipment through your yard, no torn-up lawn.
Composite or marine-grade decking
Composite for zero staining and color that survives the sun, or pressure-treated marine pine as the budget workhorse. We quote both when it is a close call.
Salt-rated hardware
Fasteners and connectors specified for salt water, with hidden-fastener patterns available where you want a clean deck face.
Permit guidance
We scope the build around Lee County and City of Cape Coral dock rules and walk you through the permit steps before a single piling moves.
Owner walkthrough at splash
The build ends with the owner on your dock, boat in the water, going over every board and bolt with you.

“Hiring Alex and his crew was a great decision! First and foremost they showed up when they said they would and perhaps even more important, finished when they said they would. ... I only wish I'd hired Alex from the start.”Vince Kotlarz · Google
Cape Coral questions
Freshwater or Gulf-access, we know the difference
Home base sits on one of these canals, which makes this the easy one. Text a photo of your bare seawall to (239) 834-0095 and we will tell you what we are looking at, or skip ahead and have the owner standing on it. Neither step costs you anything.
