Boat Lift Installation in Southwest Florida
A boat lift keeps your vessel out of the water, out of the marine growth, and out of harm's way between trips. We size and install lifts to your exact boat and dock across Lee and Charlotte Counties. Owner on every job.

The Right Lift Is the One Sized for Your Boat
A boat lift that is undersized for your vessel is a lift that fails early, and a lift placed without regard to your dock structure is a problem waiting to happen. The boats, the water depth, and the dock configuration are different on every lot, so the lift has to be specified, not pulled off a shelf.
We size each lift to your vessel weight, beam, and draft, and to the dock and pilings that have to carry it. CC Docks & Lifts installs boat lifts across Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, Englewood, and the rest of Lee and Charlotte Counties.
Owner Alex oversees every installation, and because we drive our own pilings, we can coordinate the lift and its structural support as one job. For service and repair of existing lifts, see our Boat Lift Services hub.
Boat Lifts Matched to Your Vessel, Water, and Dock
Lifts matched to your vessel, your water, and your dock, with the structural work to support them.
Hydraulic Boat Lifts
Smooth, fast, and low-profile, hydraulic lifts are a strong choice for many Southwest Florida waterfronts. We help you decide whether hydraulic or cable-driven fits your boat and budget.
Electric Cable Boat Lifts
The proven cable-and-motor lift, sized and installed for reliable everyday use. We spec the motor, cabling, and cradle for your vessel weight.
Lifts Sized to Your Vessel
We match lift capacity to your boat's weight, beam, and draft, with margin for fuel, gear, and water. River and open-water exposure gets heavier hardware than an interior canal slip.
Lift Pilings and Structural Support
Because we drive our own pilings, we install the structural support and the lift together, correctly load-rated. See our Piling Installation.
Cradles and Bunks
We set up the cradle and bunk system for your specific hull so the boat sits supported and secure. We also handle cradle kit replacement and bunk installation on existing lifts.
Lifts for New or Existing Docks
Adding a lift to a dock you already have, or building the dock and lift together. Either way, we make sure the structure carries the load. See our Dock Services.

Why Southwest Florida Boat Owners Choose CC Docks & Lifts
Sized Correctly the First Time
We size your lift to your actual vessel and how you load it, with margin built in. An undersized lift is one of the most common reasons a lift wears out early, and we do not cut that corner.
Owner Alex on Every Job
The owner is on site for the install. One person accountable for the lift, the structure, and how they work together.
We Drive Our Own Pilings
A lift is only as solid as what it is mounted to. Because we own our barge and drive our own pilings, we install the lift and its structural support as a single coordinated job.
We Service What We Install
We do not disappear after the install. We service and repair lifts of all makes and models, so the same team that put your lift in can keep it running.

Boat Lift Installation FAQ
How much does a boat lift cost in Southwest Florida?
Boat lift cost depends on the lift capacity your vessel requires, hydraulic versus cable drive, and whether your dock already has the structural support or needs new pilings. The accurate figure comes from an on-site look at your boat and dock. Request a free quote.
What size boat lift do I need?
The lift has to be rated above your boat's loaded weight, which means hull weight plus fuel, water, gear, and add-ons, with margin to spare. Beam and draft determine the cradle and bunk setup, and your water depth affects placement.
Hydraulic or cable lift, which is better?
Both work well when sized correctly. Hydraulic lifts run smooth and low-profile and tend to need less routine cable service. Cable lifts are a proven, cost-effective standard. The right choice depends on your boat, budget, and maintenance preference.
Can you add a lift to my existing dock?
In many cases, yes, as long as the dock and pilings can carry the load, or can be reinforced to. We assess your existing structure first. If new pilings are needed, we drive them ourselves, so it stays one coordinated job.
Do I need a permit for a boat lift?
Often a boat lift associated with a private single-family dock can be authorized under the same Environmental Resource Permit exemption or self-certification as the dock itself, provided the structure stays within applicable thresholds. Local authorization through your county may also apply.
Do you service the lift after you install it?
Yes. We service and repair boat lifts of all makes and models, including Golden, Neptune, Dolphin, IMM, Quality Aluminum, Boat Lift US, and Hi-Tide. Motor and cable service, cradle kit replacement, bunk installation, and seasonal maintenance are all on our Boat Lift Services page.
What areas do you serve for boat lift installation?
We install lifts across Lee and Charlotte Counties, including Cape Coral, Fort Myers, North Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel, Captiva, Bokeelia, St. James City, Englewood, Punta Gorda, and Port Charlotte.
